What is Scholar’s Diary
Scholar’s Diary is Trip and Tales’ dedicated space for researchers, archaeologists, historians, and heritage enthusiasts who are doing meaningful work on India’s cultural and historical legacy. It is where authentic scholar voices meet curious travelers. Every article here is original, every author is real, and every story is rooted in field work or research.
What We Offer You
Your own author profile page on Trip and Tales, visible to all visitors
How It Works
Step 1 — Share your work Send us your article or research paper. It can be published work, field documentation, or original writing on any aspect of India’s heritage.
Step 2 — We seek your permission Before anything goes live, we will write to you seeking formal permission to publish your article, create your author profile, and use image credits. Nothing is published without your explicit consent.
Step 3 — We build your pages We create your author profile page and a dedicated article page. Your bio, contact details, LinkedIn, or anything else you want visible — we will put it there.
Step 4 — We link your work to destinations Your article gets connected to relevant city, monument, or destination pages already on our site. If the subject is not yet covered, our team creates a new page. This is how travelers discover your work organically.
Step 5 — We submit to Google All pages are submitted to Google for indexing. Our team actively promotes the site so your work reaches the widest possible audience over time.
What We Ask From You
Just your content and your permission. Trip and Tales is not an earning site right now. There are no ads on the site and no external funding. We are not able to offer any payment in return. What we offer instead is visibility — to travelers, heritage enthusiasts, and anyone searching for authentic information about India’s past. You remain free to publish your work anywhere else without any need to inform or seek permission from us.
Removal Policy
Your content is yours. At any point, if you wish to remove your article or profile from our site, simply write to us. We will immediately submit a withdrawal request to Google and remove all content from the site within 7 days. Please note that Google’s processing of removal requests is outside our control and may take additional time. We will provide this commitment to you in writing from our official email ID before anything goes live.
