Bhutanatha Group of Temples

Situated dramatically on the eastern banks of the Agastya Lake, the Bhutanatha Group of Temples is a stunning cluster of sandstone shrines dedicated to Lord Shiva, dating back to the 7th to 11th centuries. Mahakuta Group of Temples

Located approximately 14 kilometers from Badami in a lush, tranquil valley, the Mahakuta Group of Temples is an ancient Hindu temple complex dedicated primarily to Lord Shiva. 

The complex features several beautifully carved sandstone shrines built in the Dravidian style, surrounding a large, rectangular tank called Vishnu Pushkarini, which is fed by a natural perennial spring believed to have curative properties. Surrounded by dense greenery and far from tourist crowds, this site offers a peaceful, offbeat heritage experience with fascinating 6th-century Chalukyan inscriptions.

Pattadakal

A stunning complex of 8th-century temples blending North and South Indian architecture, serving as the ceremonial coronation site of Chalukya kings.

Aihole

The temple comes alive during the annual Banashankari Jatre (fair) in January-February, attracting thousands of devotees with colorful processions, folk performances, and a vibrant local market.
