records . His research interests lie in archaeology, heritage conservation, and the documentation of ancient cultures. His areas of research include archaeology, heritage conservation, and documentation of ancient cultures .His aims to integrate archaeological data with historical interpretation to better understand ancient societies.

Kardameshwar - Standing the test of time

Kardameshwar Temple in Varanasi is an important ancient shrine associated with the Panchkoshi pilgrimage route. Dating primarily to the 12th-century Gahadavala period, it preserves Nagara-style architecture, sculptures, inscriptions, and multiple sacred shrines. The temple complex includes Kardam Kund and Kardam Kupa, later restored under Queen Rani Bhavani. Its survival is closely linked to its remote historical location, which protected it from widespread medieval destruction.
