Bulbul Agarwal

Bulbul Agarwal is an archaeologist whose research explores the rich intersections of religion, art, and cultural memory in the Indian past. Holding a Master’s degree in Ancient Indian History, Culture and Archaeology from Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University and a Postgraduate Diploma in Archaeology from the Institute of Archaeology, Greater Noida, her work focuses on Yogini traditions, temple iconography, and the enduring relationships between sacred spaces and local communities.

Through archaeological fieldwork, museum documentation, and heritage research, she seeks to understand how material remains preserve stories of devotion, identity, and change across centuries. Bulbul believes that every sculpture, shrine, and landscape carries traces of the people who shaped and inhabited it, and her work aims to bring these narratives into contemporary conversations.
